I agree with checking the statements regularly,it could have been worse if it was the beginning of the month I would not have checked til I got my statement as like i said previously i have not used the card since march 2oth or so.
I know it can happen away from the net, but usually the card is stolen and so is missing and you notice it gone.But the card in this instance was as always in my wallet.
All this happened in 4 days over the bank holiday.

Well here I am Mr. "The internet system of secure payment is fine" idiot.
I have always embraced new technology and have purchased quite a few items over the net, confident in the secure servers used.Well that confidence has been well and truly shaken.
Over this Bank Holiday I had an email from my online bank saying that my monthly statement was ready,having not used the credit card for some 5 weeks (good huh) I have not checked the account.So when I logged on to see how much I had to pay this month,to my horror £500 had been spent in 4 yes FOUR days and whats more has sent me £200 in the red with my card.
I bank with Cahoot so I will let you know how this progresses and wether they stick to there gaurantee against internet misuse.
Fed up...really fed....p****d off.

I think you have misunderstood my point, I certainly am not slagging of the post office or "The Posties" :-) as I think we have a good service .I was just wondering what percentage of other peoples post goes missing.

Hi all
Having been exchanging and on occasions buying and selling dvd`s (not for profit just for fun) for the last couple of month`s. I have probably posted about 15 or 16 items..dvd`s, cheques etc. plus had things posted to me.
Out of these up to now 2 cheques sent to me have not arrived and have had to be resent, 1 cheque I sent went astray and 1 dvd sent to me never arrived (yes it was someone I trust).
Has anyone else had these problems.

Having read all the post`s up to now seems to me that a "swop shop" would probably be easier to control then we wouldn`t get any traders.
I for one love to swap dvd`s (and have been able to watch a much more varied selection because of this.It certainly saves renting.

I just thought that the Green Mile was the better film.Though I agree that it`s a bit unfair to compare them in as much that Green Mile is a supernatural/science fiction type film whereas Shawshank is more real life based.
They do both kick ass though.

Just finally got around to watching the shawshank redemption and whilst i reckon it`s an excellent film i still feel that the green mile beats it.

Well ,what the heck does jonathan woss know about films either.I have listened to both and when i have watched the films I am afraid usually I am of a totally different opinion.I hate critics it`s just there own personal opinion after all.
As for waiting for films to come out Alien was the last one I can remember eagerly waiting for.

Having just watched Summer of Sam with which I was not too impressed.
Has anyone counted how many times the "F" word is used in it.I think it must be every other word.Now whilst I am very open minded about this and think that it`s use is justified in quite a few cases.Not every other word for F***s sake :-)

Well I have followed the thread and seems to me that it is all down to personal opinion.I have and do use FE and have had good service up to now.But, It doesn`t mean that I am not open to being warned about them (or any other service).
I will still use FE but now will be a bit more cautious .But if I get mistreated I will not use them,I can always vote with my mouse.
