Christmas TV - anything you`re looking forward to?
I did notice they`re doing a follow up to The Snowman. The original is such a beautiful little film - and `that song` does make me get a little lump in the throat every time..... :)
Not a clue what else is on though.
Anyone else noticed or looking forward to anything in particular? Which programs are having Christmas `specials`?

Didn`t even buy the Radio Times this year, which up to now had been something of a tradition in our house. I do know that Film 4 is showing Arrietty on the 30th of December, which I`ll probably forget to watch. But that`s about all that I`m interested in right now. I`ll wait to see what movie premieres there are, as I`ve shunned the mainstream the past few years, and this might be a chance to catch those blockbusters that I wouldn`t shell out money for.

The Olympic Superstars Special has to be the program that really caught my eye.

I like the IrnBru version betterFunnily enough, after watching it, I put that on for my son.
Jitendar, that takes me back 30+ years. Used to love the Christmas TV and Radio times coming out and going through them marking off what we were going to watch over the holiday.

I tend to spend Xmas avoiding Christmas specials, they don't seem to be what they used to be, and I hate all the soaps as well. I'd rather spend the time actually talking to people.
PVR seems to have killed any event TV these days, I think the Olympics was probably the first thing on in years that demanded you watch it at specific times, outside of football of course.
However I might try and catch that Superstars at some point, it looks interesting and a bit nostalgic. And hoping for a Top Gear special of some sort.

Anything I want will probably be Sky plussed as the last thing I want to do is try and watch it with a houseful of relatives

Every Third Car
I used to be with it, but then they changed what `it` was.
Now, what I`m with isn`t it, and what`s `it` seems weird and scary
