"An AI made this trailer..."

That didn't need any clarification, it was kinda obvious! 😂

Putting aside that at best it looks creepy and odd, and AI video is currently unable to generate more than a few seconds of a shot at a time, it's soulless.

"Maybe he thinks he doesn't have enough players that he trusts but I think he's being maybe a bit too cautious"

I only half watched the game, so I haven't got too much to say on the performance other than unlike many other games this season where we went a goal down and looked confident enough to come back quickly, we just looked more desperate.

It's easy to forget this is Arteta's first full time gig, and quarter finals is way better than we have reached for a long while so also not unhappy with the fact we got this far but can now just focus on the league and hope City slip up.

I do also feel some players have been underused this season and throwing them on in the hope this is the day they turn a game around is a little expectant. But likewise, as much as I like Eddie, I don't think he's good enough to be in this squad and have flashbacks to the Wenger days when Gervinhio came on and it felt like we'd given up on the game.

Anyway...

I'm glad City went to penalties and hoping that'll tire them out a little more for the league.

No words. :(

Well, maybe wrong team selection are some words.

At least the women won an easy match and had fun.

"What's the received wisdom on the best option these days?"

If you use an iPhone or iPad, you are using Safari no matter what you use (at least until they relax things soon, but that'll always be slower and more energy hungry than just sticking with Safari on these devices).

Chrome if you want Google sucking up all your data for advertising purposes.

Firefox if you care about your privacy.

RE: [VIDEO] Speak No Evil

That does look scary, although also worried the trailer gives too much away.

(Also, mini Halt and Catch Fire reunion!)

RE: [VIDEO] Arsenal 23/24 season

Some defensive frailty there last night, maybe also the odd tactical mistake too. Their first goal was a goal keeping mistake that put Gabriel in a terrible position for no reason.

I'd rather have the league, so if we go out, meh.

Well, thank Utd for the draw that you should have won, but also neither of them looked good in that game which gives me hope for our game at Old Trafford being a lot more comfortable than we expect it to be.

I'd call that... when half your team is used to being on the bench. Anyway, job done, nothing scary, on to Saturday!

Thanks for the Maanum update, heart attacks is always the worry when a player goes down like that. Hope it's nothing serious or long term.

This gives me hope it gets better? Please say it gets better. It's 2024 and I certainly expected a better portrayal of scientists rather than this idiotic representation.

"Whoever is in charge of scheduling needs a serious kick in the nadgers.
Trying to watch that and the Conti cup at the same time was ridiculous."

Yes, crazy stupid scheduling! Even one after the other would have been dumb because of extra time and penalties.

Quote:
Snaps says...
"Had no idea that Maanum had collapsed just noticed a particularly long injury and loads of personnel round a player"

I was giving most of my attention to that game so became unable to pay much attention to the City one, and then this happened and then was paying no attention to the mens game at that point.

Glad she is okay, latest on BBC site is: "She did not need to go to hospital and travelled home with her Arsenal team-mates"

So hopefully nothing long term, that was a super worrying amount of time the game was stopped for.

"Winning it five mins from the end of extra time was sweet.
Second year in row and the bonus of a seriously pi**ed off Emma Hayes.
Actually shoved Eidevall away and gave him a right mouthful."

Yeah, and I think we deserved the win the way we were seeing the game out. Really don't know why she was so ungraceful in defeat, but perhaps thats also why she's been so successful.

Also, THANK GOD FOR VAR! That was a hand of god moment if ever I saw one.

Happy with a draw at City, just need Liverpool to slip up which they seem to be keep getting close to with each game.

My running friends and I joke about this marathon, it's crazy. I think there is a documentary about it somewhere I may have watched.

Also, living on an island that has one sole escalator I suspect our CEX doesn't even have an upstairs...

I let dvdreviewer.co.uk lapse because it should be redirecting to myreviewer anyway, and well the site already costs me a bunch of money each month so... :)

Also somehow I suspect DVDs may have had their day?
