It's nice to see us back to where we should be playing wise, Russo is on fire, Williamson is back in great form, and whatever Sleger is doing it's working and I really hope they don't mess with it.

I watched most of the game but missed the last 11 minutes (to get a movie in before 9pm) and missed two goals! Looked very comfortable and having fun.

Maanum's was a great team goal starting off with Williamson at the back.

Cazorla was amazing, but somehow never quite created the chances or goals for all his skills, although there was that free kick in the FA Cup that time...

Definitely missing Odegaard heavily, but I think someone who terrified the central defenders more rather than letting them just double up on Saka and Martinelli, would make a big difference.

My predictions (in no particular order, for the first 6 months):

1. Withdraw funding for Ukraine forcing the EU to pick up the whole tab
2. Let Israel do whatever they like, even escalate things against Iran
3. Withdraw from NATO
4. Pull out of any remaining climate change agreements and green light all oil/gas drilling... same as last time
5. Remove all references on government funded websites and organisations to climate change... same as last time
6. Pardon all his friends and supporters still in jail
7. Give Musk anything he wants, removing any remaining restrictions on SpaceX and AI
8. Fire anyone who prosecuted him
9. Starts a war against imigrants

My longer term predictions:
1. Dementia gets worse

Their goalie did play the ball first so there's that. The handball wasn't a penalty though, or at best an incredibly harsh one.

At least Odegaard got a few minutes out.

This is what makes me unsure about whether Edu going is a good or bad thing, we still lack the striker we need after all these years of clearly needing one.

Yeah V&A is the same, just so much to see. Definitely time going there when an exhibition you are interested in is on, they are usually paid with a timeslot and you'll want to get a ticket in advance.

Think the last one I saw had costumes from movies.

I kind of feel like nearly all modern Spectrum games have the same 3 annoying 48k blippy sound effects that are a real turn off. :(

Also, they are all platformers or a puzzle game of some sort. The classic era had so many amazing unique games, such an experimental era.
