Having just watched the club's extended highlights I'd have to include Havertz holding off Cucarella with just a handful of shirt for his first.

Six four with a handful of five eight.
Like teacher grabbing a third former in years gone by.

That was hilarious.
It's always fun giving a local rival a stuffing but with added extras.
Ben white just shoving Cucarella over, something the nasty little sh*t richly deserves.
Havertz scoring two and celebrating.

The shots of the practically empty away end 10 mins before time.

Ben White's embarrassed reaction to scoring that goal, which he'll no doubt now claim was completely intended.

If we can beat the other lot on Sunday that will be St Totteringham's day at their place.

Our Disney prince excelled himself. What wouldn't any team give for that level of skill with that engine.

That comes under the heading of digging in and getting the job done.
They should've been a man down as that tackle was a red all day.

Trossard sharper than anyone else in the area, slight miskick for me but we deserve a bit of luck.
Odegaard finding that narrowest of angles was a joy for the second.

Ripping CDs

I know this is a bit old school but...

Trying to use Windows media player (Windows 10) to rip a track from a CD.
I've done loads in the distant past.
Although player is set to rip in MP3 format it stubbornly refuses to do so and I seem to end up with a .cda file.

I just need said track on my Samsung S10 and I've spent over an hour on this and it's doing my nut in.

Any wise words?

It took City 6 or 7 years to win the Champions league and his was our first season back in it.
I can't criticise our performance.
The best comment I've seen so far is that what should be learnt from this is on Arteta and not the players.
He needs to use the squad more throughout the season. Maybe he thinks he doesn't have enough players that he trusts but I think he's being maybe a bit too cautious.

Either way City are out as well, which is a plus in my book.
Now if we can just nick the league back of them...

I'm just getting the sound but the image stays frozen.

Tried with Firefox 124.0.2 and all works fine.

Listened to the first half and watched the second.
I know we played well and I know we got another clean sheet
(Gabriel's celebration at a clearance) but I'm not sure my nerves can take this run in.
Still haven't got over always expecting something horrible to happen.

Trossard's homecoming match went well. 😁

No booking for Havertz either which means he now can't tot up to a suspension as it resets after fixture 32.

Seeing as you've gone that far I'll admit my over riding feeling at the end was the same as after the first Lord of the Rings.

Haven't read the books but now intend to.
I agree about Benedict Wong but also didn't have a problem with Liam Cunningham.

I still think it's worth sticking with for this and any future seasons.

I'd call that workmanlike.
Did what we had to do including getting some minutes into players that we'll need before the end.
Brighton will obviously be a bit more full team but maybe not everyone as Bayern are just round the corner.
I'm going to miss the Bayern match due bad planning of a trip. I really should know better by now.

I'd have take a draw before kick off so not too disappointed.
What looked like a well worked plan nearly came off i.e.: holding them until the last 15/20 mins and then trying to nick it.

Whoever is in charge of scheduling needs a serious kick in the nadgers.
Trying to watch that and the Conti cup at the same time was ridiculous.

Had no idea that Maanum had collapsed just noticed a particularly long injury and loads of personnel round a player.
I hope she's okay, apparently she was conscious and talking not long after.

Winning it five mins from the end of extra time was sweet.
Second year in row and the bonus of a seriously pi**ed off Emma Hayes.
Actually shoved Eidevall away and gave him a right mouthful.

Apparently all because she didn't want the multi ball system used although they made use of it in the last five minutes. Not sure who gets to say whether it's used or not anyway.
