Looks like podcasts, Netflix and Amazon Prime for the next couple of weeks then.

I wonder how many will be allowed to attend his funeral.

RE: [VIDEO] Arsenal 2020/21 Season

That.
By some considerable distance.
Is the most ****ing wound up and pi**ed off I've been watching us all season.
We could have walked away from that three or even four nil.

Five subs we're allowed and he leaves it that late to make any at all.

I'm going to enjoy this lovely pint of Guinness.
My only regret is I haven't the skill or opportunity to beat the living s**t out of a anyone to get it out of my system like Colin Firth.

That's okay.
Many thanks for trying.

I'll just have to see if NASA ever come back with an answer but it's not going to be top of their priority list.

I'm confused here.
Did you find one just six numbers away from mine for the first mission as the number of the new sign up is way different

Episode three and I'm not sure it actually knows what it is.

I'm not getting any chemistry between the two leads either, or is that just me?

They don't seem to do reply emails.

The one you DM'd is for the future mission 2026 which I registered tonight.
The one I did in 2019 I can't find though mine is there.

Thanks done that.
I sent Nasa a feedback email asking If they can suggest anything but I suspect it'll be sometime to hear an answer, if at all.

I'd guess they would be so his wont be far from mine but there's no option to search by pass number.
This is the search page.

If anyone's interested you can still put your name down but the next mission is 2026.

Names on Mars Perseverance Rover

Back in 2019 I put mine and my grandson's names on the Nasa site to be printed on a plaque on the rover.
No problems nice piece of memorabilia for him when he's old enough to understand.
Trouble is their search engine to find the name is very basic and doesn't allow for any basic errors ie: even a space in the postcode or not.
I can find mine but not his.
There doesn't even seem to be an option to view adjacent names by the pass number.
Any suggestions?
Other than sitting here putting in random spelling errors.

I'd say this is the advantage of having politician who has been there and played the game at all but the actual top job.
...and yes I'm sure if you search hard enough you'll find me having slagged off politicians as a whole.
If nothing else four years of the orange a**hole and his appointees has shown that out no you don't want people who are ignorant of that world.

"If they were readily available, a&e would be dealing with loads of accidents from drunk ppl

If readily available then ppl could use them as weapon to rob local shop?

The people doing the muggings, and worse would be more likely to be armed with them."

Sorry but all of those are a bit of a knee jerk reaction and have been used in the same debate for other items once the media decides we need to panic.
Remember the pearl clutching and screams of horror over 'combat knives' a few years back, noticed any reduction in stabbings?

Just because these items are illegal doesn't mean they aren't around and available just that the kitchen drawer or toolbox offers an easier and much more threatening option.

Providing the penalty for misuse was the same as knives I see no reason why it shouldn't be an option for people to carry for self defence. If significant amounts are already carrying keys clutched in their hands a pepper spray is arguably a better option not requiring any physical force whereas a five foot girl trying to fight off a six foot male with a Yale is more likely to antagonise than temporarily disable.

Quote:
Si Wooldridge says...

No there definitely isn't but I just think the debate is worth having on an official level.

Self defence (UK)

With the recent murder of Sarah Everard and the many statements from women, including Priti Patel, of feeling at risk when walking at night or in unknown areas.
Of the many who carry their keys in their hand to use as a weapon isn't it about time to open the debate again as to what should be legal to carry for personal defence.
I'm thinking particularly about Mace and Pepper sprays.

I'm just starting this debate here and am open to persuasion in either direction but initially I don't quite get the opposition to them.

"None of that pertains to ownership of assault weapons, and weapons of that type. No-one needs a semi-military-type weapon in their home, and no civilian needs to own one."
Not only could he have it's arguable the death toll could have been even higher if he had used a pistol in a reasonably confined space.
The regular bogey of 'assault weapons' that's raised is largely cosmetic and 'large capacity magazines' not as relevant as you'd think given the speed with which they can be changed.

I'm afraid Si's right and positions over there are far too entrenched to have any sensible debate.

They would be far more likely to improve safety by concentrating on background checks and not only who gets them but their level of responsibility if somebody else gains access and uses them.
