Very harsh penalty, great goal from Watkins, I wonder how less stressful that game would have been if we'd not started with Kane.

We do seem to come alive after the subs have come on. Think I'll tune in to the final 15 minutes before the end

But realistically, I'm being realistic about our chances and just hope we aren't humiliated that much.

The wait continues.

Noticeable we didn't start playing until Kane was subbed off.

They want Southgate to stay until the world cup.
If he does we'll probably turn up with Kane still in the team and Maguire drafted back in.

And breathe 👍🇪🇸 the left back was doing my nut in passing backwards the whole game, but that one pass I’ll let it slide

"We're in the semi largely in spite of him, not because of him."
No change of opinion here... Any decent manager and we win that. You know, try playing the best players in a system they know and play week in week out. Literally, who plays back to the keeper from the kick off to hoof it up field? A few times Stones wanted the ball from Pickford but saw the ball fly upfield, generally to come right back at him. Palmer, incredible season, changed every game he's come on in but still a sub, where he changes the game again...
Please resign Gareth. Let someone else realise the potential of this group of players.

About the expected result, but giving Southgate credit to bring the team to where it is today, considering how disliked they were. At least we now have expectations again, rather than watching Lampard sky another shot into the stratosphere.

But also, feels like the World Cup repeating itself, we need to level up manager wise. This crop of players deserves more.

Where would we have been without such managerial insight.

Yeh, Spain won 2-1.

Did anyone else bet on Spain, going by England's track record?

I am going to collect my winnings today from the betting shop at our high street.
