RE: recommend travel insurance company
I have used http://www.atlasdirect.net for the last 2 years skiing. I have found them reasonably priced and offer very comprehensive cover.
I would suggest you take an excess waiver, for £10 you could save hundreds on the excess should you need to claim.

RE: Who is that really bad Photoshopper that works in Hollywood?
Most of the "family" photo`s aren`t photoshopped but are taken at Olan Mills and, yes, the
background is normally just dropped in.
Not bad photoshopping but cheap family portraits. So cheap the company may have gone bust, it has certainly shut the UK studios.

RE: Just got car. Needs Taxing. Can I drive it if on way to tax it?
You can drive a car on the road without tax and mot if you are taking it for a pre-booked appointment at a garage, however I don`t know if the same rules would apply for road tax.

RE: Poledancing - Am I being prudish, or not?
I have an adult online store and first saw this type of pole a couple of years ago. They were at that time aimed toward the adult market.
The idea of a child pole dancing is disturbing enough, but to add the garter and toy money just makes this item one of the sickest products to be mass marketed that I have heard of.

RE: Two Firefighters Killed
My respect and sympathy goes to the families of these two heroes.

Once again two firefighters have paid the ultimate price protecting their community.
In no way do I want to minimise the sacrifice that these men have made, the East Sussex fire chief made a statement on the local news that these men were the first to die, in service (or on a shout) for 30 years. This surprised me as i thought the figure was much higher.

RE: DVD Piracy Blurb - Superman Returns
I agree with Sue, when I worked for my last company we used to have a Chinese guy come round to sell pirate DVDs for a fiver. Now you can buy the original disks for between £5 - £7 if you are willing to wait a short while for a sale or Asda/Tesco to get them in.
Whats the point of buying crap quality pirates when you can get the originals for roughly the same price?
The same thing could be said for software, if it was a lot cheaper more people would be willing to get licensed original programs and with internet registration of software it has become much more difficult to run hooky software. Companies like Microsoft used to argue that it was piracy that caused them to hike their prices, however since the advent of internet registration has MS or any other software house dropped their prices????

RE: Tennant wants to leave contract early - What can I expect and how do I proceed if they just walk
I have a property developer friend how on occasion rents the properties that aren`t shifting. He does ask for 6 months deposit.
However it has to be said that these flats/houses are in the mid to high end of the renting scale for example he has a 4 bed flat 2 minutes walk from London Victoria valued at £750,000 which he is considering renting. He will be asking for 6 months deposit on this flat.
The very large deposit does put a lot of people off but seeing as he has not only got the mortgage to pay but has just invested £40 -50 k in fixing the place up, he wants to make sure his investment wont get trashed. People don`t just walk away from that sort of money.

RE: Council Tax...
You could effect your sister council tax if she is claiming the 25% discount as she would no longer be the only eligible person in the property.
But if she isn`t claiming the discount then no, you will not effect her payments.

RE: What methods of payment do you use?
Thanks chaps,
I will look into Nochex and Western Union.
I always forget about cheques and PO`s as it seems stange that you would use an online system to order something then have to wait for the payment to clear. Ta.
I also have to try to prove to the bank that we will be able to prevent money laundering, the only way that i can see to do this is to refund back to the original method of payment. I didn`t think you could launder money electronically as there is always a paper trail.

What methods of payment do you use?
I am currently writing a new website which will require as many forms of payment as possible.
I already have credit/debit cards, paypal, neteller and bank transfer.
If any of you have ever used any other form of payment it would really help if you could let me know, and also what was your opinion of the service.
Many thanks in advance.

RE: I just made ....
Neilboy, if you can dip your bhajis in it, it ain`t hot enough. :D
I am trying to make a cooking sauce as most of the shop bought ones cater to the British pallet. I don`t include "Da Bomb" (it rates 1,000,000 scoville) which is the hottest mother fkcuing sauce i have tried. :D :D

RE: How many years will I get for murder?
If you use a car to kill her you will probably avoid doing time but your driving license may be taken away for a few years. :D
You cal literally get away with murder if you hit someone with a car.

SJ, if you can`t buy/sell those peppers could you send me some through the post?
You might have to mark it Bio Hazard. :D
What got me was that I tried to put my lenses in over 24 hours after making the stuff, I should have realised that if my hands were still on fire they were still covered in the stuff. My own silly fault! :o
I am gonna have to be careful when I cook for other people with this batch, it is hard to gage the strength of the sauce. I cooked up some chicken with it last night, I used a quater of a teaspoon of the sauce (it was meant to be a mild dish) and got better results that half a bottle of encona. :D
