Ha, I`ve just had two new, lovely, insulating double glazed windows fitted, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow :D

Digital camera to the ready. Blinds open all night lest I miss a flake falling.
Love it.

Random,

Im`sitting in a fully double glazed house. Centrally heated, loft insulated and last year I had cavity insulation all around the house.

If it`s cold we now put a candle in the living room for heat....if it`s very cold we light it...lol.

Seriously if you are in an area were the weather is getting really cold, think about your neighbours who cannot get about due to adverse weather and try and help. Especially if they are old.

Lol, I may have exaggerated, the two new windows slightly lessen the amount of heat vanishing out of my house. This morning before they fitted them we had ice on the inside of the windows. :D

Not just England, snowing up here in Fife at the moment.

Not the first time either, we got it quite bad a couple of weeks ago but it thawed really quickly so only lasted about a day.
