RE: Can you get OUT of a speeding fine?
Depending how you were caught there might be a way out. If by Gatso camera, there can`t be any other vehicles in the picture, as you were overtaking some thing all should be good.
Take a look here

It`s always a multiple of 9 so it can never get it wrong.
RE: Legal eagle help
The flash gun idea came out in a Jack Daniels fuelled beat the system get together. Another one that came out was to avoid parking charges and fines (bloody hell motorists are an easy target). If your reg plate was covered or taken off, and tax disc tyrned round on a carpark, could a parking ticket be issued?
Legal eagle help
Hi all, and seasons greetings to you.
If I was to place a flash gun next to my rear registration plate, and wire it to one of those slave units that would make the flash fire if another flash gun was to go off around the rear of my car, would I be doing anything illegal if a gatso flash gun just happened to set mine off? I would imagine my flash could obscure my reg plate for part of a second. ;)
RE: Those water boiler things for the office...
Ours at work had a filter fitted after a few people thought it was the boiler, I think it is every 6 months we change it, or when the water comes out to slow :/
RE: Crank calls on mobile
Nina, you do have to report this to the police, there are things that can be done to trace this w****r if you convince them he is enough of a pest, or if they believe he is a danger to you. I had similar from an unregistered fone, started as you with saying what i thought, just seemed to increase the number of calls. What stopped it for me was WRabbits advice, answering the call, not responding and leaving the nutter to end the call, for 4 days the calls got fewer and fewer, haven`t heard a thing for over a year now.
RE: Ipaq sat nav choices
Thanks Neil,
Managed to get both those sites up on this `mare` of a machine. Looks like all the info I need is here. Tom tom for me to I think.

RE: A question for the `Dads`..........
My mrs had a touch of mastitis, and used me to make sure there were no blockages for poor baby to suck against. A couple of times tasted it while playing ;)
Warm and sweet, don`t think it would be any good in coffee :/

RE: Well, here`s my solution which cost me 10 quid.
E-mailing might be the way, on the Lenoxx ht-600 strings there were e-mails sent to lenoxx, but the replies were along the lines of, yep it can be done, but we can`t tell you. I tried e-mailing a company called eastech as this was found http://www.eastech.com.tw/Products_website/DR3110.pdf by Stu B, and today (yes I know the hack has been here b4 today) they replied with the hack
> Region code setting
> 1) At tray open condition.
> 2) Press and hold "Volume up" key for more than 2 seconds.
> 3) Release "Volume up" then press "Language" key immediately.
> 4) Follow the prompted OSD instruction for region code setting.
So not all are gonna tease you with `it can but we can`t`
Keep lookin guys and good luck.

jvc xvs42sl hack tool
All,
Does anyone know where I could get the schematics for the above tool? My eldest son is chipping just about everything, but would like to make one of these after watching me use one. Thanx
Any luck with a Lenoxx HT-600 hack?
The Safeways around here have loads of HT-500`s and 600`s the slimmer 600 would fit better under my TV, but I can`t find a region hack, and the kids have loads of R1 movies. Anyone out there found a hack for this machine yet?

Aldi`s surround sound speakers <£40
Hi All,
On July 11 Aldi are going to be selling some Medion surround sound speakers, they say in their leaflet that they are 5.1 active and are great for CD and DVD listening. Does anyone know if these will plug straight into a DVD player? I have a JVC XV-S42SL that has a coaxil and optic socket on the back and has DTS Dolby digital and 3Dphonic logos on the front. Would these work together?
Thanx for reading.
Pop Star wannabees
My nephew John wants to be a star, and had tears in is eyes while he was telling me how `few` hits his web site had, if you get a couple of minutes it aint a bad site to visit. And I think they really look the part.
If you leave them a message in their guestbook, mention Uncle Timmy sent you there.

Do video machines havve macro hacks?
Guys..
I have a sharp VC-MH704 video machine, when I link my DVD player through it then to the TV, I get a perfect picture until I press record, then the macrovision kicks in. It got me wondering if the macrovision can be disabled on the video machine...Any ideas on this?

RE: Slight judder playing R1
Thanx for that Tony, pointed me in the right direction. Selected `auto` instead of pal and can now chop n change R1 R2 with no judder.
Slight judder playing R1
IWhen I play R1 dvd`s anything that moves across the screen, or when the camera pans, there is a very slight judder.:-( R2 play okay, Is this due to the TV or the R2 player being set at R1 or all regions.

Cheap digital TV- Is this for real??
Hi Guys,,
Came across this Digital Technology site at http://www.stealthcard.net/index.html does anyone know anything about this deal, or is it one of those 2 good 2 B true things? Any info on this would be appreciated.

Any nice boxes??
I am new to DVDs, and very impressed by them, Except the boxes some of them come in. The kids had Cats and Dogs from Santa, and the packaging already looks a year old. Are there any boxes available that the card sleeves like Cats and Dogs can slip into?
