another good episode, the "flashback" at the beginning was interesting.

My only problem with it is, i was thinking, why do films of video games usually go so wrong. I know the Resident Evil films are more dumb action (the first was ok fun wasn't it?) but this shows they could have been done so well :(

Watched the first episode last week - thought it was really good.
So faithful to the game, some of the action and set pieces lifted straight from the game.  Having his daughter dominate so much of the first part made what happened next so shocking - exactly like the game....
As for why this manages to translate a video game so well to TV I'd say it's because the game had such a focus on the things needed for good TV - with emphasis on character development being a big part.  That the action set pieces translate so well to the TV series is very nice too! 😊

Have to say 'wow' first two episodes... cant wait for the next!

Don't know anything about the game, but standalone this is great

Episode 3, another banger except that I hated being SPOILER:
 conned into seeing a magnificent love story unfold while waiting for one of them to turn on the other being that this is a truly f***ed up world then they both show that there is still love and beauty in the world no matter how dark things seem, stunning episode from a top quality series that keeps getting better and better!! dont we all wish we could survive like those two? with the added bonus of the right wing Christian fundamentalists losing their s*** :)

watched last night, absolutely fantastic episode, some wont like it because of its over political correctness, but a great storyline, some great humour within it, and another brilliant ending, which left me wanting more!

In comparison to the game...
SPOILER:
From what I recall, in the game you kind of explored around Bill's place, avoiding traps etc. and then met Bill and he gave you his car that you push off and were attacked by the infected while escaping. You didn't meet Frank, he'd killed himself quite some time previously - but it was certainly suggested they were more than friends.The changes in the episode, while they wouldn't have worked as well in the game, were done brilliantly and worked much better I think.
Sad to see a bit of review bombing going on but sadly not too unexpected these days.
