RE: [VIDEO] Fear The Walking Dead
Watched the pilot. The first 20 minutes seemed to be wandering into shift+delete territory, but it won me over by the end of the episode. Just.
Kim Dickens is as watchable as ever and Frank Dillane managed to remain engaging despite his character's many enraging qualities.
Cliff Curtis and his enormous head have yet to grab me, though.
I watched the 1st episode, I found it difficult to get totally wrapped in the characters however that's probably because I'm so used to the big core characters from The walking dead however I'm going to stick with it.

Anyone know if the AMC channel is available in HD?

According to BT it will be on channel 381 in HD and channel 332 in SD.
On Sky it will be channel 192 if you have the BT Sport package. It doesn't specify HD on Sky, though :\
Also, the first episode will be shown for free on the BT Showcase Channel (Freeview channel 59).
I'm really liking this, Kim Dickens is great as ever, it's an interesting viewpoint of the beginning of the outbreak, reminds me of the recent War of the Worlds remake (but in a good way).
Can this series have much of a life though at the rate it's progressing? Surely after one season it'll be into The Walking Dead territory and as much as I may love these characters by then, it could just be more of the same.
Though perhaps they'll do a second prequel, with scientists explaining how it all happened.
