Page 1 of So do you guys moisturise then?

This is just for the macho men here....
So, who uses moisturiser or any other product on their face or skin?
I do and my old work mates used to laugh at me for doing so, their idea of a cleanup is a quick scrape with an old bic or asda razor then a rinse with water....that`s it.
I probably layout about £400 worth of skin care products when i am about to have a shower and shave and have done this for the past 20 years, i started taking care of my skin mainly because the working enviroments i have been in ......working with concrete, oil and other corrosive chemicals.
I am 40 years old....nearly 41 and have been told i look about 28 I don`t have kids which is probably a factor but i am godfather to my 4 nephews and 1 niece and have them over just about every other day and worry about them if they were my own.
My brother who is 4 years younger than me actually looks about 10 years older.....(Bic razor and water rinse all his life)
So come on guys...get yourself moisturised and move out of the old school way way of thinking.....woo hoo!

I reckon it`s smoking that does it for your skin, with or without skin care products as does getting a `tan`, or a sunburn as Ian Fleming in his James Bond novels was wont to call it.
I use a cheap moisturiser from the £1 shop and occasionally an after shave balm.

Sometimes - It depends on how dry my skin gets here in Alberta, sometimes my hands are so rough I could sand MDF with them.
My outlook on life is positive & carefree, I`m positive that I`m a pessimist & I don`t care what what you think.
Never has so little had to be explained by me to so many so often.
RE: So do you guys moisturise then?
after I shave I use moisturiser, I usualy shave in the evening so I use it the following morning. I did have some gillette stuff, didn`t like that too much, or the wilkinson sword stuff or Nivea for men either.
I usually stock up on it when supermarket/Boots do 3 for 2, but I`m noticed poundland so some of the good brands stuff now as well! I like King of Shaves stuff, they also do an SPF one which is handy in summer. I`ve recently started using a Real Shaving Company one which is OK, I like the Bulldog one as well.
Actually my hands have been dry recently so out/at work I`ve been using some vaseline hand creme I got in poundland, but at home I use Atrixo `cos that`s what the missus buys.

I do, after every shave and I shave most days 7 out of 9 I reckon. Straight after a shave I always moisturise with Double Base cream. This always goes on my elbows as well, I am also 40 and get told I look 10 years younger than I should.

As I only use electric shavers, dry skin would build up on my face, unless I use `Nivia for men deep cleaning face wash`, otherwize I would not get any intimate moments with my wife
I wonder if they could use that in their advertising, as it has such a great incentive to use it
