Brit Awards 2004

Couldn`t help but laugh at the intro to 50cents performance, was that intentional really badly camp acting and scripting, or serious? I still can`t decide. :)

Also amusing watching every single presenter of an award fall flat on their face when they try and be funny.

Hasn`t been too bad, especially compared to the last few years. I don`t think the 50 Cent thing was supposed to be that serious, but his performance was a bit repetitive.

I really like the Darkness, and have done for ages (they`re kind of a local band really) but they seem to be letting it go to their heads - or is that all part of the `irony` that goes with the band? :/

Oh and Katie Melua: crap live, but still looks a sexy little minx! ;)

Another Brits with no surprises....an awards show that desperately wants to be as cool as the MTV awards and failing on almost every atempt ..the usual band of wooden looking celebs handing out awards to people they have never heard of ....Leigh `Mel B` Francis dying on his arse to an audience that had no clue what the joke was...Busted howling their way thru an awful cover of the Undertones..

As much as I like the Darkness, they do seem to be letting all the praise go to their heads lately...I can see them going the same way as Oasis in a year or two if they dont keep their feet on the ground.

How the hell does Annie Lennox get a nomination EVERY YEAR? Im sure she hasnt released anything in the last 10 years and if she has it aint worried the top 40 chart :/

Nice to see a music show that didnt feature the blazin squad for a change though... :p

oh ps..I know shes been all over the tabloids this week but who the f*** is Scarlett Johansson?....is she just another of these `famous for being famous` people or has she actually done anything?...and to be honest she ok...but she aint that nice looking...papers comparing her to Monroe?.....oh obvious realy eh..she had got blonde hair afterall ;)

This year was better than most recent years, but it seemed very amateur to me - some of the colaborations they get to perform are quite good though.

I thought that, but by all accounts she had an album out last year that actually did relatvely well, and she also wrote a track that is on the LOTR:ROTK soundtrack - call yourself a movie fan?? ;)

and Scarlett Johansson :o :D did anyone see her talking to kate thornton on ITV2 after the awards??? That voice....

Scarlett Johansson has been around for quite a long time, and has done a good few films, with Ghost World being one of her best. Just check out her imdb.com profile to see what she has done. She hasn`t just come from nowhere, she`s only just now getting recognised because she`s had some really good roles recently.

And I think she was only being compared to Monroe because of what she wore and looked like at the BAFTA`s - you know what the papers are like for talking s*** anyway.
