I think they don`t have crane flies (Daddy Long Legs) in America, they call harvest spiders daddy long legs over there. I remember seeing some American program with a load of spiders, and thinking "those aren`t daddy long legses, what you on about you nutter" so it must be true.

Allegedly they don`t have badgers either.

.... And is it true as I heard, that "Daddy Long Legs`s" venom is one of the most harmful substances known to man, but that we are safe as they lack the equipment to break human flesh when they try to bite us?
