RE: ST: Wrath of Khan Directors Edition Region 2

It`s in 2.35:1, and as such there will still be "black bars" at the top and bottom of the screen.
See here for more in-depth analysis of aspect ratios and the like.

RE: Asian film fans

I clicked on the link in his first post and clicked on forum.;)
It`s not set up properly yet and you can`t access the forum that way anymore. I won`t post a direct link as he probably doesn`t want people to see it before it`s ready.

RE: Couple of film related questions...

Eraserhead?

Eraserhead does relate to the film, I don`t want to spoil it, but the ending relates to the title.

RE: Asian (as in chinese) films

Mandarin is spoken in mainland China, Canotnese is spoken in Hong Kong. House of Flying Daggers was filmed in Mandarin.

RE: Bruce Lee documentary on CH5 last night.

Anyone notice how it was titled "Bruce Lee: Martial Arts Superstar" and yet they still showed the clip where he says he hates the word "superstar"?

RE: Project A Series: Digitally Remastered Collection (5.1/ DTS) @ cdwow

Normally Hong Kong discs don`t have subtitles on the extras, but this is an IVL release and recently their (somewhat minimal) extras have had English subtitles as well.
e.g. Police Story trilogy and Once Upon a Time in China 1/2/3
