Ads should`ve been regulated from day one anyhow. Our ears should receive compensation. If TV shows have to abide by precise audio levels, why shouldn`t the ads in-between them? It doesn`t make sense us even being in this predicament.

had a similar problem, probably with a laptop of similar material, before getting my desktop. you`re best asking them to service it and replace the surface because it`s not meant to crack so easily - it`s technically a faulty product. make sure all your work`s backed-up before you give it them, tho
i had to stop using mine because the plastic or whatever was melting and giving off fumes

In other UK finance news, mini-ISA investments go up to £3600 in cash and £7200 (the deficit in stocks and shares) in April, yet the base rate`s gone down a bit to even things out....In case anyone wasn`t up to speed :>)

I do like Banksy`s murals. I`d class them as graffiti art as opposed to just graffiti (tagging and so on). I picked up a book about graffiti artists and most of it was elaborate tagging in subways etc. I preferred the artists that went beyond that (like Banksy).

The most romantic moments for me involve sincerity. Maybe an affectionate exchange followed by a prolonged kiss and making love. Candlelight and presents and meals smack of too much effort and unoriginality. I think `Oh...Well, this is nice, but it`s a bit cliché`.

Seen one of the two specials on TV before. Thought it held together quite well despite the premise being acustomed to half-hour sitcom length. There are some really touching scenes when Harold meets his wife-to-be. Think she`s a stripper or something. Mike Reid has a bit-part playing himself I recall.

Think they`ve collated the channels well, with certain genres of movie being easier to find. I`ll be turning to Classics and Indie before checking out what`s on the other channels, for instance, and I`ll avoid clicking on Action and Family because I`m no great fan of those types of movies. It`s better for preferences.

The Simpsons trailer`s amusing, but, yeahh, get the feeling there should be more to it than that. They should`ve made a Simpsons movie in the mid-nineties. Not when it`s on the wane.

The Oscars ceremony always seems more repressed than other Award ceremonies. Saw it once and I nearly threw up, so never watched it again. They should cover Cannes with equal publicity. It has more substance.
