A good example she likes him but he is very quiet, does that mean he isn`t interested at all, and he is being quiet about it?

Probably...yes... maybe?

I`d avoid the quiet ones if I were you. They almost always turn out to be fish rapists or some sort of degenerate or other.

I think we need a lot more info than just "being quiet"
Have you, for instance, drawn breath and given the poor devil a chance to say anything. :)

Seriously, look at the body language (open or closed).
Close enough to check out wether his pupils enlarge when he looks at you (don`t cheat and turn the lights down).

Some of us may require a bit more in the way of encouragement.
Quiet doesn`t mean anything one way or the other.

Men are easy to read. They act more or less the same in every situation.

If the guy is generally quiet and he likes you, he will act quiet. If he doesnt like you, you guessed it, he will act quiet.

Women easily get confused about this. In the same way that they anthropomorphise human attributes onto their cats, they transpose girl behaviour onto guys.

They wont send you subtle signals probably wont pick up on yours.

Men need some kind of banner in flashing neon lights saying `I LIKE YOU`, especially if he is crap with women, because he certainly wont ask you.

In summary, the only way you will find out is by asking them. Its like when a bloke asks you `whats wrong?` and you say `nothing`.

Although strangely after a few hours drinking not only do I think most girls I see are attractive, I also seem to think that they all like me aswell ;)
