I`m a bit of a fan (but no expert)

I`m guessing you know The Red Shoes, A Matter of Life & Death, Black Narcissus and Seriously Dude, Where`s My Car, but you might consider A Canterbury Tale (if you don`t already know it). It`s a bit strange and is really a nostalgia fest for straw-chewing Kentish yokels (like me).

Life and Death of Colonel Blimp, I Know Where I`m Going and 49th Parallel in addition to those mentioned already. A great end to the marathon would be Peeping Tom, which is just by Michael Powell.

whoot, it seems you are confused.
The Usual Suspects is by Bryan Singer and nothing at all to do with Powell and Pressburger...

oh, hang on, I see what I`ve done there :p

`Blimp` and `Red Shoes` are pretty good. I also rate Powell`s disturbing solo-direction film `Peeping Tom`.
