Lookign for a CHEAP DVD/HDD recorder

On the lookout for cheap DVD/HDD recorder. Cheap as in under £100. Needs to be digital BUT single tuner is OK and small HDD is OK. In fact the most technical thing it needs to be able to do is pick whether to record to drive or to DVD.

Any ideas

Wii play game disk

Just got my copy of Wii Play and played the games but eldest daughter has said that "I got the wrong games". Eventhough the games I have (ordered online) are the same as the games in the pack at game. She says there was a game where you had to pump up a balloon and other such sillies.

Did Nintendo change the games on this disk. Anybody got any idea if its possible toi get a copy of the original if they have?

In reply to the original question. Nope! you`re pretty much stuck with their parking rates.

Unless changes recently its free to drop off passengers if you simply drop them off but if collecting passengers then you are forced into the car park. One option here is to get the person to collect you from the railway station which can be accessed from the terminal via walkway

One good thing though - at least it aint Heathrow T5

If you have service book look for a 4 digit number scribbled in the bottom left corner of the initial car info page. This wont appear to be anything but could be radio code. At one point it was unofficial rule of dealerships. Made it easy for them to "get a new code" if customer lost theirs

Tevion TV - Av switching

Parents have just bought one of these TV from Aldi. Set it up OK except they have c##p aerial for CH5 reception. They are watching the TV on digital in the main BUT they have a problem I was wondering if anybody had "solved". When they switch the DVD player on, the telly automatically turns to scart channle but when they turn it off the TV goes to the normal analogue TV and they have to change it to digital manually.

Anybody know how to set it to return to digital when DVD is switched off?

Solved......Just press the DVD Mode button. Somebody must have pressed the TV one thus disabling the remote.

If in doubt,......read the instructions!!!!!

Done the Av switching, the clock resetting etc etc. BUT has anybody come across this:-

Today unit failed to respond to remote. Changed batteries...nothing. Thought handset not trasnmitting as the little icon doesnt come up on the unit but my Freeview unit lights flash when IR signal is transmitted nearby. Tried a Philips DVD player handset and the signal icon appears on the screen but nothing else (wasnt really expecting anything)

In case of operational fault (Eg: locked not to accept handset) I tried to restore the factory default setting, which initally was Ok except you need to use the remote etc select language etc so noe its stuck on the language select set-up screen.

Questions:-
1. Anybody come across this before
2. If handset faulty anybody know where I can get one
3. I presume I can finish setting once I can "talk" to the unit
4. Does this unit have a facility to lock it so handset buttons not recognised
5. Where was the posting on how to get a disk from inside machine
6. Is it @#@*ed!!!

Take it back to the strore and tell them that the electrics phoneline told you to return it (even if they didnt). If you have the receipts you`ll get a full refund.

Legally the store has to "put right" the situation if under warranty (if less than 6 month old the store has to PROVE its not an inherent fault if only offering repair) which can include a repair but to be hinest iy aint worth their while to go throught the hassle

After coming so close, Lewis hamilton may yet be World champion as three cars are investigated for fuel irregularities. If found "guilty" and disqualified Hamilton will be fourth and therefore champion.

Daughter has this phone and uses it as her MP3 player. However some of the msuic she has on computer doesnt play. She has both ripped CDs and downloaded (legit downloads with licences etc). Was wondering whether this phone has problems with some types of music (eg: DRM`d tunes)??

Any other owners have similiar problem and how to get around it?

And I`m sure there will be blanket media coverage of their arrival back in the UK, their return to their home village, their visit to see parents and family, and twice as much if they are asked to return to Portugal for further questioning.

FIFA 06 - DS

Purchased this rather than 2007 for the same price as allows for single card download play. BUT, cant find anywhere where you can transfer players to keep team (relatively) up to date. Is it tucked away or simply not available on the DS versions.
