Anyone still paying for antivirus software should be aware that there are loads of free anti-virus programs out there, giving the same level of protection as the paid-fors (including McAfee).

It arrived on time by courier, nicely packaged. I got the camera and a 2GB card and next day delivery for under £400.

The camera is excellent - a little weak with indoor lights, but it shoots RAW so that can al be sorted out after the fact. For a kit lens it`s very sharp and the focus snaps nicely into place . It`s a real step-up from the point-and-shoot canon I used to use.

It`s been classified as pretty much the best 6mp SLR camera out there, and it uses all the old Pentax K lenses as well.

Right, I haven`t a clue about these things. I don`t wan`t anything fancy - just something I can use to talk to other people with. No need for a PDA, games, amazing number of ringtones. Just a cheap, decent phone, and I`m not really looking for a monthly bill, so Pay As You Go would suit me better.

Any ideas?

Dazzle Hollywood Bridge (Firewire), or the Pinnacle PCTV Deluxe (USB. 2.0) Both work, although only the Pinnacle has a TV in socket, so it`s useful for recording live signals as well as recorded ones.

Picture quality is generally very good.

Scart Signal Splitting

Hi, I hope someone here knows of something to help me.

I`m looking for a device that`ll allow me to plug one scart signal in but get two out in return, so I can have the same signal going to both my TV and my PC at the same time, and display it on both.

I`ve heard of Scart Splitter, but it seems to allow two signals to go into one TV (so stop wear and tear). Do thay allow you to do what I described above, or is there something esle to look for?
