Scart Signal Splitting

The funker (Competent) posted this on Monday, 2nd June 2003, 10:00

Hi, I hope someone here knows of something to help me.

I`m looking for a device that`ll allow me to plug one scart signal in but get two out in return, so I can have the same signal going to both my TV and my PC at the same time, and display it on both.

I`ve heard of Scart Splitter, but it seems to allow two signals to go into one TV (so stop wear and tear). Do thay allow you to do what I described above, or is there something esle to look for?

Have a look here:

http://www.kleanit.co.uk/acatalog/Scart_Splitter_Boxes.html

It claims to give multiple scart outputs from one source. I`ve never tred one though, so I can`t vouch for its accuracy!
