Offer seems to apply to anyone not currently on ntl Broadband (ie can include folks like me who are on telephone and TV but not BB):

Three months half price line-rental :

1 MB - £17.49, although note 1MB goes up to £37.99 from 1 Jun 04

600K- £12.49

150K - £8.99

Installation/connection is free (£50 waived)

Plus

You can also get three months Broadband Plus for free on 600K/1 MB services.

You need to start off by adding in your postcode details at this page, then when the special offers come up click the Broadband Plus offer if you want 600K/1 MB, or the half price broadband offer if you want 150K.

Yes that would be great if it was available, I`ve only waited 3½ years so far from the proposed install date of broadband in my area!!

So are you leaving ADSL BB Clayts? Was it Pipex?
I think this will really affect ADSL and unless they do something (BT reducing 1Mb fees??) many more people willl go over to cable.

Yeah, been with Pipex since Feb 03 (or was it 02 ???). Absolutely no complaints with their service whatsoever, but as my telephone and TV are with ntl, it`s pointless me hanging on to the BT line just to enable Pipex to feed through it (i.e. don`t use the BT phone line anymore) - effectivley makes my Pipex rental £37 a month for 512K...

I agree though - I think BT-supplied ISPs are gonna struggle to compete with the cable co.s now - great for the consumer, bad for brilliant outfits like Pipex : never had a bad word to say about them (until I try to cancel, but I`m not going there until my ntl connection is up and running, even if I have to pay another month to Pipex !).

right so im with NTL on there 150k narrow band service 4 £17.99.Really wanted to move up to proper broadband. But cant really afford £24.99. Now because im already a customer with them i cant get the 3months halfprice broadband, but if i hang on to when they double the speeds which should be in a month or 2! i mite give them a bell and see what they can offer me! cause if its true about the upgrade thing happening then it migth be worth paying £24.99 a month!?!? Does anyone no if its defo that you cant change services and get the promo?
