Thanks for the reminder - I knew it was soon (actually thought it was the Bank Holiday weekend, so good job you reminded me !)

I have removed my original comment because someone threw his toys out of the pram. I have the right to express my opinion and to let others know about potential problems they may face. As my comment was not welcomed, everyone else will have to miss out on it`s wisdom.
I would not post a comment unless it was correct, so I do not feel I did anything wrong. On top of which I was responsible for it, not the forum. So if there had been any problem with it, the forum wouldn`t have had to answer for it.

Superfi sold off the Marantz SR7200 for £199 (£450 off). Well worth an extra £80 over the basic SR4200. I believe that the Coventry branch of Superfi still have one left. It`s a display one, but comes with the full 2 year warranty.

Mods: Falcon`s comments seem to me to be defamatory of Richer Sounds, a legal action waiting to happen. I value this forum, I`d rather not lose it.
And I`ve never been sold any graded, returned or repaired stock (as far as I know) by Richer Sounds without that being made crystal clear at the time.

I was only trying to be helpfull. I won`t bother in future. Don`t say I didn`t try to warn you!!
I didn`t see anyone complaining when members have been warning people about other companies.

RE: Open Box Sale This Sunday @Richer Sounds Stores
I am happy to reinstate your original opinion - it certainly wasn`t libellous, else I would have edited it.
You were being somewhat sceptical about whether stuff being sold by Richer was brand new.
Your certainly not the first to state that opinion. Richer Sounds always retort to such criticism in their monthly magazines stating "We quite frequently hear of our competitors telling customers that the only reason we are so cheap is that our goods are either seconds, returns, stolen, counterfeit, secondhand etc. This is utter nonsense and simply sour grapes on their part - they must be desperate ! If it were true it would be both illegal and hardly good customer relations, something we assure you we take very seriously. All our stock is brand new in sealed cartons unless clearly stated otherwise. GRADED products refer to ex-display, mail-order returns or ex-service products thoroughly tested and resold with a full, as-new guarantee."
So if you have evidence to the contrary, you need to complain to the relevant authorities as they are clearly in breach of regulations relating to advertising.
How`s that for a balanced post ?!
