is there an mpeg encoding program that i can edit this SVCD audio with?? if so, what one do u recommend?? (please reply if you know as i really want to get this lip-sync problem fixed ;-) )

i`m not creating the SVCDs so it might be the "rippers" fault the lip-sync problems are occuring but I use the latest Nero to burn them onto a CD-R to be played as an SVCD cd. (thanks 4 replying! :-) )

as no-one seems to have an answer to my SVCD topic below i thought i`d see if you could help me with a different problems i was having.....:-)
how come when i watch the Nutty Professor on my Wharfedale the opening credits don`t all fit on the screen ie.half of a name is viewable,half isn`t ??! it is a region 1 DVD. anyone?

Wharfedale 750s-SVCD lip-sync problems?!

I just got my Wharfedale 750s player earlier today & am glad to say it works like a dream!! :-) It played both my DVDs,my purchased VCDs,my personally-made VCDs & my SVCDS with hardly any problems! the only problem i have noticed so far however is the lip-sync problems when playing SVCDs-the picture was not in sync with the audio for BOTH of my SVCDs and was wondering if anyone else had endured this problem??!! there are no lip-sync problems when played on my computer but as soon as i play them on the Wharfedale,, disaster!! is there a way of fixing it?

I need a player with the requirements a few posts up! i have 2 dvds that i play in my computer but no DVD hardware player! I`M GETTING VERY p***ED OFF!!!

I`M NOW GOING TO CANCEL MY ORDER TOMORROW!

A month ago I ordered the Apex/VDDV 600A player from www.ionark.com to be told there were none in stock so i cancelled my order a few weeks later.Last week i ordered the Yelo 800 only to hear about numerous problems with the player so i`m going to cancel my order for this player tomorrow!! WILL I EVER FIND A GOOD DVD PLAYER!!??
I need one that:
-Plays VCD,SVCD & MP3(although not completely necessary as VCD OR SVCD)
-multi-region
-available in UK
-actually IN STOCK!!!!!!!
-has hardly any problems with it!!!
-macrovision(although not completely necessary)

PLEASE GUYS-I SERIOUSLY NEED YOUR HELP AS EVERYTIME I ORDER A PLAYER I JUST CANCEL IT LATER ON AFTER ALL THE TERRIBLE REVIEWS IT GETS!!!

YELO 800-A FEW ?s

1.I ordered the player LAST WEEK from www.interdvd.co.uk and it said it had sold out of its first batch but was getting a new batch on the 23rd October. does this mean that i`m GUARANTEED to get a player on this date as there`s no mention of the 2nd batch being sold out yet on the website??
2.Is there a possibility the SUBTITLES bug or any other bug could be fixed by the time i get my player?
3.Is it possible to convert MPEG-1 files to a VCD-type file in order that they can be played on my Yelo 800 player?

Apex/VDDV AD-600A DVD? !

I ordered this player from www.ionark.com 3 weeks ago and it says on the website "allow up to 3 weeks for delivery". no sign of it so far!!! i`ve tried phoning the helpline numerous times to no avail-just an answering machine!!! the order was definitely processed as i got an e-mail confirming my order but where the hell is my 300 pound player!!?? CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT?

DIDN`T BUY SCAN PLAYER-BOUGHT APEX-600!

after all the negative responses i received by mentioning i was thinking of buying the Scan-SC 2000 player i finally decided to trust you all and spend £100 more on a recognised top-quality player ie.the Apex-600! (from www.ionark.com) as it was out of stock i`ll have to wait a bit longer for it [max.3 weeks :-( ] hopefully it`ll be worth it! let me know what you think of my decision or of the Apex-600 itself!

Thanks 4 the replies-nelley-do u work for this company then? If so,can u leave your icq/e-mail so i can get more info from you? if not,then just reply via the forum. "The Ironduke"said it has poor picture quality - you say "rgb has been sorted out"-what is rgb? does this all mean that if i was to order one now the picture quality won`t be (noticably) bad?
can you also put mpeg videos on a cd-r and play them on the player ?
are there any problems about the player i should know about ie.sound,picture etc.(i`m trusting you to be honest even though i think you work 4 the company & want to make a sale :-) )
