Where are you going to buy, in the US. If they have the same features, try to find out first how to hack either of them. I bought APEX AD-600A in the US and up until now I am still searching for a solution to hack it to be multi region. As of now I could only play region one (NTSC) discs.If your aim is to play only region one karaoke and movie discs, then go for the APEX. The sound and vision is good. At a cheap price of $179, it is worth it.It has composite, component and co-axial out.
