I`ve had my thomson 100hz pure flat screen tv a couple of months now and I love mine, no problems (except that it take about 5 secounds for it to come on, but can live with that) I have no problems recording onto VHS. If you`ve got a q-link campatable video, you can record direct from the tv.

Get it fast, I paid 500 quid with the stand

With all these companies flooding the market with this software that can burn a DVD onto CD-R by just using your CD Writer and DVD Rom. Do they really work? or is using a DVD Writer is the best? Can you reccommend a cheap, fast, and has region free firmware available for it dvd drive and where to get it from?

whats the best dvd-r to work with this drive, that will work in ps2`s, pc and most dvd players ?

Have you had any problems in burner underun`s etc ?

what sort of hard drive space do I need for copying dvd`s as I here that its best to copy to your hard drive, then onto the disk?

whats the difference between the A04 and 104?

does the 104 region free, if not where can I get the hack from?

I need to buy a dvd drive as well, is it better to get a pioneer one as well ?

Is there a boot disk for the PS2 ? I was told that there was a boot disk for dreamcast, which enabled to to play copied games on it. I want to know if you can get a boot disc for the PS2 that can do the same, so you don`t have to chip it.

Help, help please.can`t update my AD-L 528 DVD-Player`s firmware

Just downloaded the latest firmware for this player, but stuck on how to produce the cd to put into my player. intructions are as follows, but don`t know how to:- Create an additional directory “No_Used” on this CD.

Can some give me a blow by blow,lay mans, step by step guide on how to do this.

1. Please unpack the attached ZIP file.
2. Now you can see the directory upd500c under which you can find two files. Please write this directory on a CD and create an additional directory “No_Used” on this CD.
3. When now loading this CD in your device, you will be asked to press the ENTER button for making the update.
4. After the update has been finished, you only must remove the CD from your DVD-ROM drive.

I`m on the verge of buying a Cyberhome AD-L 528 dvd player, and just found out that it can`t play RCA encoded disks in it. Is there a hack to get around this, cos its sounds ok. I`m new to all this and need a novice guide to RCA encoded disks etc and if this a worth while buy.
