Page 1 of Help, help please.can`t update my AD-L 528 DVD-Player`s firmware

Just downloaded the latest firmware for this player, but stuck on how to produce the cd to put into my player. intructions are as follows, but don`t know how to:- Create an additional directory “No_Used” on this CD.

Can some give me a blow by blow,lay mans, step by step guide on how to do this.

1. Please unpack the attached ZIP file.
2. Now you can see the directory upd500c under which you can find two files. Please write this directory on a CD and create an additional directory “No_Used” on this CD.
3. When now loading this CD in your device, you will be asked to press the ENTER button for making the update.
4. After the update has been finished, you only must remove the CD from your DVD-ROM drive.

First of all when you unpacked the update zip file you should have the directory UPD500c on your hard disk. This contains VX.BIN and VX.DAT. You must then create a directory next to this one called No_Used (which stays empty). Using your cd burning program you can then copy these two directories to your cd. You then place this cd in your player and follow the instructions.
