Thomson tvs + 100hz or 50 hz

allmyusernamesweretaken (Competent) posted this on Tuesday, 30th April 2002, 23:31

I`m thinking of buying a Thomson flatscreen, widescreen 100hz TV. I like its looks, picture is sharp, but I know nothing about this brand. Does anyone out there own one, if so can you recommend this tv.
Also I have heard that there are problems with 100hz tvs, especially with regards to recording programmes on vhs. Which is a better choice 100hz or 50hz?
Any advice gratefully received!!!!!!

I`ve had my thomson 100hz pure flat screen tv a couple of months now and I love mine, no problems (except that it take about 5 secounds for it to come on, but can live with that) I have no problems recording onto VHS. If you`ve got a q-link campatable video, you can record direct from the tv.

Get it fast, I paid 500 quid with the stand
