Is there a boot disc for the PS2 ?

Is there a boot disk for the PS2 ? I was told that there was a boot disk for dreamcast, which enabled to to play copied games on it. I want to know if you can get a boot disc for the PS2 that can do the same, so you don`t have to chip it.

they are self booting ps2 games out there which are on dvdr
