Page 1 of [VIDEO] Halo (Paramount+)

I only ever played the first game and I barely remember it apart being a bit underwhelmed on PC after all the Eggsbox players hyped it up so much. So I have almost no attachment to this franchise, but the prospect of some sci-fi/fantasy that isn't Star Wars or Trek related is somewhat appetising.

Starts March 24th.

Is this one big Cortana advert? :) I've never played any of the games but I am curious how they are going to make the audience have empathy for someone behind a helmet.

They managed it with The Mandalorian although eventually he took his off.

First episode was... okay. The story seems very nut-and-bolts sci-fantasy, nothing particularly surprising or original so far. Still better than the relentless side-quests of The Mandaboring or the excruciating misery of modern Star Trek. It's only one episode, though, so it could always get worse.

Surprisingly gory in places, which was nice.

Surprised it's going straight to terrestrial, especially since Paramount+ just launched in the UK.
