Suarez now officially off to Barca for about £75m:

I know he'll be a big loss, you can't easily replace a striker of his calibre, but I do think Liverpool can well do without the negative publicity that surrounds him, especially as they seem inept at dealing with it.
Alexis Sanchez also signed for Arsenal this week if you missed it.

All works out very nicely for Suarez...

"especially as they seem inept at dealing with it."You could say they dealt with it very well since the incident. Under their guidance and coaching he went on to be the joint heighest ever Prem goalscorer, had the best season of his career and won pretty much every award there was to win.
Then six weeks away from that whole club atmosphere in the mad, passionate Uruguayan camp he lost it. Not so sure LFC's 'ineptness' caused it.
The best Prem player for many years and I'll miss what he could do on the pitch immensely.
Cheers for last season Luis.

We will pay the price but we will not count the cost..

I'm thinking more about the racism debacle which could have been all over in a few days if it was better managed, but they somehow managed to string out for weeks.
I also think, to have stood buy him yet again after two very large public faux pas, would begin to place him as being more important to the club, than the club is to him.
I know it's a big loss for you, but I think Liverpool's image is better off without him, much like City's is minus Balotelli.

Not quite sure what the thinking there was.
Also, it does seem like there is some revisionism going now. A number of LFC fans (not saying it was anyone here) were up in arms over his ban about the latest incident but seem to be now back tracking and conceding it's for the best as he'd let the club down, etc.
Shame, I was looking forward to a shirt burning or a mass demo with legendary banners...

If you get in quick you should get plenty of fuel for the fire at a knock down price.
Just stick a small ad in The Echo
Just think how much it could cost us with all those Bendtner refunds Rob.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what `it` was.
Now, what I`m with isn`t it, and what`s `it` seems weird and scary

Yes, what will my voodoo dolls wear now? :(
And thank you for reminding me that the last of the dead wood will finally be gone this summer! Arsenal now officially have no players that irritate the hell out of me, or should have been sold off years ago.

Seems to be enough Khedira to AFC stuff now that it looks likely to happen.
Stumbling block appears to be he wants the wage figure to be net not gross, which is a pretty sizeable difference.
Maybe he's been chatting to Arshavin.

Drogba back at Chelsea. That has to be like Henry rejoining Arsenal for them?
Columbian goalkeeper David Ospina to join Arsenal. Interesting...
