Can I get some advice about www.dddhouse.com
Are they any good?
Are the prices to god to be true some of the DVD's are under fiver?
Do you have to pay import tax on them?
as there is about 20 or so films i would like to get is it better to order the lot in one go or more
many thanks to all that reply
I actually have never used DDD House until last Wednesday. Still have not received my DVD but have received an email confirming dispatch. If I receive the DVD this week I will be very impressed with them. I think it is best to order 3 movies to avoid import tax.
Their prices do seem good but the DVDs have few extras, and only consist of English subtitles.
I`ve ordered a few for the first time and they should arrive any day but a guy at work recomended them to me, he buys loads from them and has never had a problem
I ordered my first DVD from DDD last Tuesday and it arrived by registered mail this morning. 100% reliable so far...
I did my first order with dddhouse a couple of weeks ago. The discs arrived perfect this morning after five days in the postal system (they had to back order), but they only charged when the stock came in, so I`m a happy camper. Nice packaging, too - heavy card envelope tied with string, proper stamps and a customs declaration that had been through Mt. Pleasant.
Advice don`t order more than two discs at a time or you will get hit for import duty. Keep your orders under £18 and you`ll be safe.

Just to repeat myself from another thread ive ordered from them 5 times recently. All my orders have been processed within 1-3 days and ive received all orders within 4 days from posting with 1 order in an incredible 2 days! On the import tax issue they only mark the price of the dvd`s and not the price of p&p on the customs form(on all my orders anyway). Ive ordered 4 dvd`s at a time no problem but i make sure the cost of them is below HK$225 about £18.
Good site, cheap and reliable. I usually order 3 at a time, otherwise the postage starts to work out quite expensive and you are usually going to get whacked by our friends at customs.
I`ve been using them for well over a year now, and they have always provided excellent service. Never had any problems whatsoever...very reliable!
some 1 at works says the dvds dont have many extras
and that you can`t turn off the subtitles on them it that true?
No, at least not on the 4 I have, you switch off the subtitles on your player rather than on the DVD.
Incidently I have been unable to log on to the site for several days, has the Url changed ? I`m using www.dddhouse.com.
