Anyone else having trouble with Firefox Extensions?
A couple of days of hassle for me, as suddenly one of my add-ons suddenly stops working, and I have to go through some painful rigmarole to get it working again. Apparently Mozilla have screwed up a certificate somewhere. While they try and fix it, they've issued a temporary workaround, but only for the current release.
I use an older version, pre-Quantum, which has an adblocker that works for me the way I want it to, with the filters I've set up, and most importantly Classic Theme Restorer, which makes Firefox look the way I want it to look. It's the latter add-on that keeps dying.
It's worse for some people evidently, as all of their extensions have been killed by Firefox.

Do Help - About Firefox and it should download a new version (66.0.4) that fixes it.

We will pay the price but we will not count the cost..

Downloaded Waterfox instead. My extensions still work on that.

Looks like I finally got Firefox fixed. It basically took importing the new certificate and force-enabling it. Here's the site that explains how.

It's useful if you're running an old version of Firefox, pre-Quantum which doesn't have Studies.

Two new Firefox releases out to fix this, the first did it for me everywhere, the second should apparently work for anyone who didn't get fixed by the first.

If the speech is about the ordinary extensions, they work OK. But the others are not so, as I saw.
