PCs & Mobiles Forum
I liked Windows Vista. I had control over my operating system. Now MS control it, and how kind of them that they are planning to remove MS Paint among other functionalities in the next Windoze update.

Oh no, I'll have to learn to use a "proper" art package :( Right now I'm doing some documentation at work, and I used snipping tool then paint to edit a screenshot.
I think I used free paint.net in the past. Gimp, PSP, Photoshop are overkill for what I need to do/ understand.
Edit: phew, depreciated, not removed...yet.

I do find for a lot of stuff it's next to useless anyway because it's so limited. Gimp is a bit of a faff though.

Tried it.
Hated it.
I understand it's mask feature is popular though.
Although I use mostly Photoshop I'll still boot up Paint for just a quick resize or something as basic. Purely as, even with an SSD, it boots quicker.
Take a look at what you can do with it.

EDIT: Reports of it's death may have been exaggerated.
