Page 1 of Best free CD ripper?

Been given a nifty MP3 player. Anyone know of a freeware cheap and cheerful ripper so i can make a `compilation tape` of my old CD`s?

Whats wrong with windows media player v 10…you can rip to MP3 or WMA format with it…good enough for me ;)

Many people hate it because... erm, it`s made by Microsoft :/
By far the easiest to use (and prettiest :) )music ripping and burning thingy I`ve come across.

Another vote for CDex here, been using it for ages :B Quick, easy to use, fills in the track names and CD title.

So does WMP (when connected to the net :B ).

How do I get WMP to also write the Tags? Mine just says "Track 1", etc.
