The last 20 minutes especially is like one long Mini ad, yet they didn`t cooperate on the film, unlike Fiat!
If you were watching in the northeast (not on digital), you would have seen a repeat of Auf Wiedersehen, Pet instead!

I`ve heard that the proposed remake is going to be American with "Marky" Mark Wahlberg in the lead role.

Didn`t they learn anything from Get Carter.
Capitalist Pigs!

Economic Sanctions should be applied to the US until they stop desecrating film classics.

The rumours of a remake have been doing the rounds for a while. Originally, those sacriligious studio bastards were going to replace the minis, with wait for it - VW BEETLES!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank god they saw sense. Yes, the rumours are true. Mark Wahlberg is attatched to the remake, and BMW WILL supply the new mini.

When will they get it into their thick skulls that cult classics should never be touched. This really P***** me off!!!!!!

Details of this are now been shown on IMDB [http://us.imdb.com/Title?0317740]. Apparently production was scheduled to begin on August 3rd.

All I can say is ... "NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!!!""

I agree look at planet of the chimps. Roddy Mcdowell can never be replaced, and neither should Michael Caine, in this Great British Classic...
