RE: Coping with the lockdown

I've actually enjoyed watching a number of the virus themed films and documentaries, which seems odd for someone who was very anxious about all this.

There's a good series on Netflix, Pandemic (although only a couple of episodes in). Watched Contagion again (so prescient) and that excellent BBC documentary about the Spanish Flu. Surprising how much they knew back then - even using mathematical models to track the contagion. Unsurprisingly, there were also terrible decisions made by idiots, which aided the death toll possibly reaching 100 million worldwide.

The Horizon doco last night (part 2 of 2 I think?) was also a real eye opener.

It is not. For some reason Elton John becomes the focus of the finale, and the sight of him embarrassing himself just puts the final nail in

Finally taking a few days off since mid-March, so I've started playing Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC...

My new setup's opened up the library on actually playable games, ergo, more recent ones. Just spent a good few hours downloading Detroit: Become Human and I'm already invested.

In continuing to back Demonic Cummings to the hilt, Boris Johnson has now completely blown the lid off lockdown.

Basically, if you think that your breach of lockdown is justifiable to somehow benefit your family (you are free to make up whatever story you want here), you can come and go as you feel fit. That includes if you think you are ill.

Lockdown is over folks!

If your siting on a crowded beach and taken up by the police, you can always say you had bad eyesight due to coronavirus and thought the beach was empty :D

Since easing of lockdown, the greatest relief is now getting into my van and being able to drive somewhere other than the weekly supermarket run.

Still waiting for a married lover to visit me. LOL
(not sure if wife would approve)

So I took a few days off after the bank holiday and fenced my entire (~68m) back garden with my Dad.  The panels are 1.85m so we had to keep them at arms length while carrying them to keep our 2m! :)

I've now got 60 (2.4m) sleepers sitting on the front drive to make some raised flower beds and tree pots.  Managed to add a few new power tools to my collection this last week which pleases me. :)

A bit big for a playhouse.
Outside office?
Workshop?

We'll be paying for our fence when they start working again.
Wood only I'd take a stab at but ours needs to be concrete posts to fit in with what's already there.
