I'm guessing that was this morning's opening to his show which I missed.
Feel much the same.
Happy they've all been proved wrong?
Not really, as he says they'll all be fine.
Johnson's Dad is already a French citizen isn't he.
Johnson's earnt around 4 million quid for standing on his hind legs giving his burble, burble phwaar schtick since he left No10.
Rees Mogg's been admitting gerrymandering in his own inimitable condescending style with no expectation that it will come back to bite him. As neither will the fact that he's not supposed to be able to host a news program, which he does.
Personally I'm wall punchingly pi**ed off.

I am not young enough to know everything.
"Brexit will be amazing for the UK economy and NHS"
...
"Brexit is failing because of all the remoaners" (even though none of them are in any power anywhere)
...
"Brexit is a failure because Boris just didn't do it right"

The car manufacturers actually piping up now. The subtext of which is that they are out of here unless they get EU concessions. Doesn't help that we are not on course to build the battery factories that we need either.
By 2030 it is predicted that Poland will overtake UK GDP, with other eastern European countries doing the same in the following years.
It really feels like we are a nation in decline and a large part of it is down to the disastrous decisions of the Tories: austerity followed by Brexit and endless culture wars to prop up their useless ideologies.
The real kicker is that Labour are so worried about pandering to the frothing brexiters that they are unlikely to do much to help. I won't make the mistake of voting for them again.
Just had to share this one.

Who's responsible for the massive increase in boats crossing the channel lately? Why, it's those jolly brexit voters, of course

Alfie Noakes says "The car manufacturers actually piping up now. The subtext of which is that they are out of here unless they get EU concessions. Doesn't help that we are not on course to build the battery factories that we need either."
What has happened now with electric cars, is stalemate, ie, those that wanted one have now got one, and those that do not want them, will not buy them (assuming they can afford one).
So the Labour party are now going to get rid of the carrot incentives and hit you with the stick instead, by putting petrol and diesel car road tax up double what you are paying now. Even the cheapest small engined car will go up a lot, and likely increasing yearly, trying to force us onto very expensive, range anxiety electric cars.
