Note is probably some local having a laugh and a wind up when he/she has read the closedown notice, I have never met anyone anywhere in the world happy to revisit any food selling establishment which has health and safety or cleanliness issues.

Might not even have been Scottish at the end of the day.

Thinking about it, and the current time of year, I`d even hedge a bet at it being a Student who`s put it up either because they:
a) Thought it was funny and as a Student everything they say is funny or the rest of the world can phuck off, or
b) It was their nearest chippie (possibly also cheapest) and they used it regularly even though they have no money because they are poor students and can only go out drinking 5 or 6 times a week....
