I`m sorry, but there`s something inherently funny about watching a fat bloke getting thrown around like that. :D

Well it says they got 25% off a future cruise.

Besides it is like a free roller coaster ride would have been fun, unless you got smacked by a table of course.

You know the sad thing is, people probably complained about it.
I hate people that complain about `acts of god`.
The same people who complain about their flight being delayed by fog/snow.

I know it`s the sea and all, but with modern navigation aids, weather radar, etc, couldn`t they... drive round? :)

Sorry I have to agree with Bowfer, I`ve just had a huge smile on my face watching the oversized Where`s Wally hurtling round with the furniture.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what `it` was.
Now, what I`m with isn`t it, and what`s `it` seems weird and scary

You do occasionally get rogue waves on the seas, so be prepared to barf up.

I got this on my way to the UK from Australia a long time ago, and was on the P&O liner Orcades in the med, when it got hit head on by a massive wave and pushed the front of the liner under. I thought I was done for.

God knows how much loose stuff got lost overboard but luckly we had ropes tied up in all the main corridors to hang on to, and going outside to the prominades were forbidden It is very frightening when you are in the middle of it all, with no where to go.

One good thing was that it cleared the dining halls of most passengers, as there was only a few like myself with a cast iron stomach, and sat down for lunch :D

That ocean journey was one of the reasons I just use Jumbo jets now to go back and forth to Australia to visit relatives.

I have to say, if I was on a cruise and I saw a piano hurtle past on a 45 degree deck, with Captain Stubing clinging on to it for dear life, I think I`d mention it to somebody.

I went on a Royal Caribbean Eastern Mediterranean cruise last year. Thankfully it was very calm for the whole time... except the final night where it got a little rough!

There was an act on in the theatre with someone balancing on top of a bottle (amongst other things). Given that most people were struggling to stand still with two feet on the `ground` I have no idea how that guy managed what he was doing!
Needless to say he got a standing ovation.

We luckily had booked a good state room with a balcony - which makes all the difference when it`s rough. Some friends we`d met had an inside room (with no windows at all) and they said it was horrific that night.

y`sure they were actually standing mate? ;) swaying more like?

i think the second bit of footage with a 3 tonne forklift being moved
around like a tonka toy truck would be enough to scare the **** outta
me tbh!

thought that bit was funny with some random geezer hitching a free ride
on one of the bits of furniture though :D
