Um... don`t tell them your password - they can`t get in without it.

Or, if they already have your password, change it quick.

Or, if they already changed it, use the password reset function (and hope to God they didn`t also reset your email password - most likely if you use the same password for Facebook and for email).

If I`m understanding this correctly, it`s not that his account has been hacked.
It`s just that someone has posted a link to his account on a forum.
So he`s being inundated with friend requests etc.etc.
In which case, going into the settings and changing it to `friends only` will assist.

I wish I hadn`t bothered with it, to be honest.
I was cajoled into it, then went through a few weeks of being sent endless `quizz requests` from a mindless cousin.
Never bother with it now, certainly haven`t updated it in months.

We`d noticed, our lives felt soooo empty! :D

Seriously though, I`ve never went in for any of this type of thing but with the advent of becoming a Grandad soon, I might have to lower my defences.

I was `sold` Facebook on account of being able to speak to a friend in Portugal, which you can do via the `chat` facility.
But the likes of MSN messenger is far better for that, especially with webcams.
You can also send photos `live` with MSN messenger.
Sums up why I haven`t been bothering with Facebook.
In fact, I may have just talked myself into closing my account.

Hey! But I`ve just joined! :(

Actually, don`t bug me, I`m playing Mafia Wars.

Yeah, I know, for a social networking site, that`s pretty antisocial. :p
