That said i cant believe they didnt have a replacement lined up though i guess it was short notice. Sorry to see Fernando leave but you cant really blame him, hes not winning anything at Liverpool in the immediate future is he.

Ive been gone a while so havent shared my thoughts on Kenny being in charge. Frankly the players should be ashamed for the way they stitched up Roy but Kenny is ok in the short term........i soooooo do not want him to get the job long term, time to bring in a younger man imo

As previously stated.....different manager....same old s***. Wasnt expecting miracles with Kenny taking over (shouldnt have been given the job anyway) but it should be clear that the squad just isnt good enough and these players are as much to blame as Hodgson was, though of course the manager will always be held responsible.

Frankly imo the following players arent good enough -

Miereles
Poulsen
Maxi
Konchesky
Babel
Ngog
Jovanovich....forgot we had him before tonight

Not sure who`d we`d get in, afterall whos gonna want to play for us at the moment.....and lets not go the history route as thats very old and very tired. On LTV theyre trying to convince us that Kenny is enough of a draw to bring in big players, its almost embarrasing to be a Liverpool fan at the moment with crap like that being banded around.

Heres my take on things for what its worth......

Berbatov did go down softly but then Gerrard would have done the same thing at the other end. We didnt show any real signs of improvement imo, same old schtick just with a different name on the gaffers door.

Had to chuckle at Fergies sly little dig at the start of the game `if they think this is the way forward then thats upto them` when asked about Kennys appointment.

Torres still looks really disinterested to me regardless of what hes come out and said today.

Babel is a tool and needs to be banned from going online for the good of the club.

Gerrard is an idiot for tackling like that and defo should know better.

I never thought Roy was the man for the job.....a younger man should have been brought in straight away and allowed to rebuild, but when Roy was given the job he should have been given some backing this month and seen where he took us before being replaced at the end of the season(admittedly he hasnt helped his case but opening his big gob, often and in the wrong way).

I really dont see what Kenny is meant to offer, he showed he was out of touch with the game with his post match comments and with the players we have i dont see us finishing as high as we did last year, frankly we`ll be lucky to get 4 points from the next three games but thats just my take on things.

Gonna be a long second half of the season.

Sky + Pausing and Rewinding

When i first had Sky + HD fitted i could watch a programme, pause it and then rewind back to the part of the programme i had wandered into when i turned that channel on, ie rewinding past the point i had paused at.

Now however when i press rewind it just pauses the channel rather than going back to the beginning of when i turned the channel on.

Any idea why....assuming that all makes sense

Watched this and was ok but they were always on a hiding to nothing with recreating such an icon character.

The likes of myers and voorhies can pretty much be played by anyone due to the mask but kruger like ash from evil dead will always be linked with the actor who played them.

So if i understand correctly nesv will clear the bank debt, invest in the stadium and give a few quid for transfers.

Thing is fourty mill isnt going to get you much in the current market and based on roys current policy itll just get wasted on 5 or 6 average players.

The fans outside court seemed to think this deal will put us back in top four but the problems go much deeper. The team we have isnt good enough and using off field issues as an excuse is just a smoke screen. Too many poor players and top players not pulling their weight is the real problem

Skertel is a good solid defender....Cole is a very hit and miss player who enjoys showboating too much for me, Fergie didnt want him which says alot

As you all know i hated Rafa with a passion and im glad he went. Since the 2005 Champs League win (done for me off the back of the previous season under Houllier) weve either been stagnant or going backwards.

Not going to go over the whole Rafa thing again as its ancient history now but putting the boardroom woes aside for one minute weve made some truely shocking signings that frankly its embarrasing to talk about, the two biggest faux pas that spring to mind being Keane and Aquilani.

Looking at the signings that have been made under Roys watch -

Jovanovic- Free
Danny Wilson- £2million
Christian Poulsen- £4.5million
Joe Cole- Free
Brad Jones- £2.5million (hand forced on this as needed a "UK" keeper)
Raul Meireles- £11.5million
Paul Konchesky- £0.5million (well £3.5-4million but the 2 youth players went in exchange at same value I believe, so relatively little "cash" spent).

None of these for my money are `top team` signings. Theres noway Arsenal, Chelsea or Utd would ever sign any of these players, theyre all towards the end of their careers and are frankly imo average. Like its already been said its all about perspective and we have to realise that we are not a top four side anymore, maybe we will be again but itll take time. Hell for my money were not a top 6 or 7 club right now.The season before last we finished second and i said then that it was only because we punched above our weight, everything clicked and being knocked out of europe helped as we had nowt else to concentrate on. Last season the true extent of how lacking in depth we were showed as Torres was missing from important parts of the season and we were found wanting.

Alonso was sold and never replaced as agin the signings we made were in my opinion not good enough and again now the new signings are not good enough to replace the players we sold on.

Ill admit i dont know much about the reserves but in respect to the first team ive marked in bold those players who i actually rate and as you can see ive picked 6 which frankly is a joke.

Bottom line is that its all opinion of course and i dont think we`ll be bottom half come the end of the season, but by the same token im not convinced that we`ll make europe either and if this continues just how long will Torres hang around for

Fifa 10 Live Season

Thought id give this a go as im not a big gamer but cant do any worse than the real Liverpool. Anyway in the Fifa store it says the league ive bought is owned but back in the game i cant access my live season from the menu, what am i missing?

I dont rate any of the signings made over the last 12 months. Aquilani was a complete waste of time and money, he was injured when we bought him and now is out on loan.

As for the likes of Jova and Konchesky the way i think of it is, would any of the other big clubs sign these players......the answer is no.

As for rebuilding that line has been used for the past 3 or 4 years and its getting old to be honest.

We have to realise that the way things are right now we are a midtable side at best. Our best players are not performing and everyone outside our first 11 is simply not good enough which isnt necessarily their fault as theyve not been given enough opportunities. Things carry on like this cant see Fernando sticking around past January.

RE: PS3 Move

This is gonna be a dumb question but how do you get two move controllers to work. Ive got the start the party game for my four year old and two controllers, reassigned them to positions 1 and 2 but can only get the one ti light up and use within the game. If i turn one off the other us recognised so they both work and are both registered to the console so what am ioing wrong.

Financial Fluctuations aka The Saga Continues

About to make a leap of faith into world of personal bankruptcy and wondered if anyone here had done it.

Long story short, me and girlfriend got into trouble and ended up un debt management for two years. Then we were informed we should have been in iva and so one was sorted for us. Its bern two years in iva (so four in total) during which time secind child was born, girlfriend got post natal had work hours cut then she became unemployed.

She`s moved yi brum with kids and as a temp measure our monthly iva payment was dropped by 66%. They now want it back to what it was despite me earning no more (no payrise or bonus in two years) and her on benefits. Told them couldnt afford it so they disagreed and defaulted us. Kinda relieved in a way, I know bankruptcy isn`t the holy grail but ut us an out for us frim our struggles.

Questions are, does it reflect on address as I`m renting a room and dont want to screw landlord, and can it be refused?

PC Problems

Having a problem I hope you guys can help with. PC was on this morning, then I logged off and eventually the screen went to sleep. Now however I can`t get it back on. The power is on and normally moving the mouse would bring it back up but its not doing anything.

I`ve unplugged everything and turned it back on, any advice peeps?
