Page 1 of Several things I know about tattoos.

1. they hurt. a lot. especially when they go over skin that`s near to the bone.

2. A tattooist will paste a preliminary copy of the design on the area, and check that you`re ok with the location and design before proceeding. tattoists very seldom make it up as they go, unless you`re part of the in-crowd

3. Tattooists will make several checks on your wellbeing before, during and after the procedure.

4. When the tattooist has finished, he will give you advice on aftercare, and will check with you that the design is what you wanted.

5. If the tattooist does not speak your language. You don`t use them.

6. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO FALL ASLEEP DURING A FACIAL TATTOO UNLESS YOU`RE ON PCP

7. When your parents see what a collossal f***-up you`ve made of your face, the first port of call should be some deep soul-searching, not trying to sue the tattooist (who had several eye-witnesses) for `destroying` your looks...
