Sounds like a real good holiday.
I can`t comment on Boston but theres loads of must see/do`s in these citys.
New York I did the usual tourist stuff Empire State Building, Statue Of Liberty, Central Park but I highly recommend the helicopter flights that go up and down the Hudson river, was fantastic. We didn`t book in advance just turned up and waited about an hour to get on.
Vegas was madness. If your brave, unlike myself, go up the Stratosphere Tower and go on the rides at the top. I realised I liked my life to much.
The Grand Canyon is a must. Don`t travel all that way and not go and see it.

Boston`s a really cool city.
A lot depends on your personal taste, but I really enjoyed whale watching from Boston Harbor - click here - you`re guaranteed to see plenty of whales, mainly Humpbacks, Minkes and Fin Whales (the second largest animal to have ever lived on the planet). You leave at around 10am, and should be back at around 1 or 2pm. Amazing!
Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market are worth visiting too, and Newbury Street for shopping.
Plenty of places to eat if you like seafood.

As for New York and Vegas Id go for the usual tourist stuff but also the art galleries (I think the Museum of Modern Art and the Metropolitan Museum of Art both in New York have some Warhol and Salvador Dali pictures so visiting there would be a must for me...)
Id also go to ground zero, not thru some kind of morbid fascination but because its history..its just one of those places I think if your in the area you have to go to...Vegas has its usual glitz and glam Id have to experience the OTT hotels and look around ..the fountains outside the bellagio are free to watch and by all accounts are fantastic (unless they switch em off on windy days LOL)
As for Boston, My ex flew back home via Boston when she moved back to Indiana, she was excited at the prospect of visiting the Bull & Finch pub (its exterior was used as the `Cheers` bar) but apparently the inside isnt anything like the cheers bar and its VERY expensive, so if you go take a picture of the outside and then look for somewhere cheaper to eat :D

errrrrrr Pick me up a few demo\RMA returned Zodiac`s from Olympic Systems?

I consider myself an optimist, albeit an optimist with cynical tendencies and a dark side that Lucifer himself would find a little creepy. (Perhaps you've noticed.) You don't normally associate cynicism with an upbeat pov. But I have exactly that combination and will defend it.

buy your tickets for the empire state building online otherwise you will have to queue for tickets which can take up to 2 hrs and thats before you queue for the lift to take you up top believe me this will save you big time . the statue of liberty has reopened to go inside it (closed because of 9/11 ) but you will need a pass to go in these are free you must have one however. these passes are timed so look at your holiday and try to time it you can get a pass off their web site. if this fails there is a gift shop on the island go there and ask the person at the till for one saying something like this is why we came to ny and didnt realise about the passes a friend in work done it and she was given 4 passes so it pays to ask. in vegas there is plenty of free transport up and down the strip avoid taxis if poss last of all macys do a visitors discount card you can get one at customer services but i emailed them direct and had one through the post 12% off

One of these.....
Actually getting your hands on one anywhere would be a task in itself, further details here.
