I managed to get the list earlier, but I don`t know if it`s a bit long to post here?

Bloody massive isn`t it :o There`s no way all of that will be returned/binned, although it was only banned in 2003 so it can`t be *that* bad can it?

Apparently, supermarkets will also have the list available.

And whilst the stuff Quote:
could contribute to an increased risk of cancer
, as they said on the radio, it is dye which has been used to colour the chilli powder, which has been used to make the Worcester sauce, which has been added to the ready meals, so the actual amount of chemical in any given product is going to be very small.

Nobody`s giving any statistics, but anyone want to bet that there are more carcinogens in a pack of 20 fags than there will be in any of these meals?

They had a woman on the news earlier from cancer research who said the risks associated with this colouring are vwery very mininmal.

On my own part I am very smug cos being a veggie I dont eat any of the stuff on the list because as someone said earlier it is related to the worcester sauce added to meals and as that contains fish it isnt veggie :-D Having said that it is bad the the food standards agency only picked this up because their Italian counterpart allerted them to the risk. I also heard that the colouring used is also used in boot polish *Yuk* probably a good thing that half the time we dont know what we are eating

Never mind a pack of 20 fags, I`m sure there are more carcinogens in the air of any major town or City due to the amount of crap spewed out by your average car - and there`s not a fat lot being done to reduce the amount of cars on the roads.

Interesting to see all Asda`s veggie meals on the list though. Either they aren`t truly veggie, or there is a vegetarian version of the sauce involved too.
