See this thread, but what other past TV shows are worthy of a new series ? "Hitchiker`s Guide to the Galaxy" and "The Sweeney" come to mind. Might not be the same though, seeing as though Douglas Adams and John Thaw are no longer with us :(

Seconded and thirded. Played straight but light like the original show rather than either spoofing it or going "gritty". How about Charlie Sheen and Emilio Estevez as Napoleon & Illya respectively?
I`d like to see somebody try making a few more ITC style adventure shows - The Saint, Jason King, Department S, some more Randall and Hopkirk or The Persuaders.
Let`s see a new generation of British Smoothies, rather than the modern taste for skinheads, ugly bastards or slimy charmers.

Re: Champions (slapping forehead) Forgot that one. Re: Randall and Hopkirk - I didn`t think Vic and Bob were that bad, but then again the show wouldn`t have been remade without them. If they wanted to make more, I`d be happier with new actors in the roles (not, I hasten to add) Ant and Dec.
