Bummer what a time to get ill.

Sat 14th Sept - Brothers wedding

Sun 22nd Sept - Running Bristol 1/2 marathon with wife

Mon 23rd Sept - off to Corfu.

Suppose I will have to watch my dvd back catalouge from a-z and hope that the 10 tablets that the doctor has given to take a day start to work.

Think of me fellow dg`ers.....

I had shingles in `97 while I was on a first aid course. Being put into the recovery position was a barrel of laughs.

Oh, and that old wive`s tale about if they go all the way round and connect you die? It`s true, an old wife told me

You have my sympathy - this is not at all comfortable.

Try St John`s Wort - my mother found this was the only thing that helped when she had shingles. Its been several years though and the effects may recur (the chicken pox virus never leaves your body).

My wife and I had shingles then we decided to change them for slate roof tiles which cost us £3000.
OOPPPS sorry wrong shingles.
