Aren`t the nominations due any time?
I love deadlines - I love the whooshing noise they make as they fly past...

Think the above is how we will hear about the winners coz i dont see them showing it ;)
I think/hope that if the WGA stick to their guns and get nominees to agree to boycott as they did with the Golden Globes, that might force the AMPTP to be reasonable.

Or Ilan Eshkeri for that matter ;)
Also, Take That are relatively unknown in the US and the song is tucked away in the end credits anyway so I`m guessing the judges probably didn`t even hear it. Lucky bastards :D
Gone Baby Gone should have been up for best pic ahead of both Juno and Michael Clayton, and possibly even Atonement.

Spot on, don`t see enough love for the film. Have seen most of the big hitters for the oscars season and would have to agree, its the best film i`ve seen all year.
I personally think Casey should have got the nod for it aswell - if he`s better in Jesse James I really can`t wait to see it.

Definately should have been up ahead of Juno, haven`t seen Michael Clayton or Atonement.
To be honest I`m surprised Juno has received so many nominations after seeing it. :¦ Not that it`s a bad film by any means, just it`s not amazing.
Gone Bay, Gone should have definitely been in consideration for a lot of the different awards. The only nomination being Amy Ryan, whereas I`m with the call for Casey for Best Actor (haven`t seen Assassination of Jesse James either).

Who nominates the nominations, though? Everyone gets so hyped up about what the nominations are but little`s mentioned about who chooses those nominations.
Open the door for Mr Muckle!
