Pan`s Labyrinth - nowhere to be seen

I normally go to the Cineworld in Middlesbrough and they`re not showing Pan`s Labyrinth, neither is the Showcase in Teesside Park, nor the largest cinema in Newcastle, the Vue cinema in Hartlepool or any cinemas in the north east. I really want to see this film as a huge fan of Guillermo del Toro but it seems as though the nearest cinema showing it is in Bradford, 60 miles away!

Isn`t this generally considered one of the best films of the year and therefore a ridiculous state of affairs?

It`s not just the North, I live in Kent and the best I could manage was to go into London !!
Mind you, the Odeon Covent Garden was cheaper than the Odeon in Maidstone !!
you work it out !!

the film by the way is fantastic, in all senses of the word.
I`m still tryting to work out whether it`s a happy or sad ending...I`m plumping for happy at the moment...believing the "fantasy" to be real.
Or am I getting all deep and meaningless here ?? :/ :)

Yes and yes! My local Cineworld isn`t showing it either >:(

I watched a DVD Screener a couple of months ago and it is easily one of the best films of the year, but I was really hoping I`d get to see it on the big screen that it so richly deserves :(

I`m seeing it this Saturday at my local Picture House cinema, it`s not showing at the Cineworld, but is at the Odeon.

Our Cineworld quite often doesn`t get films the Odeon gets (it has 1/2 as many screens), I assumed by the large number of TV adverts it had got a proper release, despite being a foreign language film.

It`s showing at 2 cinemas in Sheffield (the decent ones not VUE or Odeon), and having already seen it once I`m going again tomorrow as it is a fantastic film.

That`s the saltiest thing I ever tasted, and I once ate a big heaping bowl of salt.

I dont mind blockbusters or more `popcorn` friendly movies I can watch virtually any type of genre/style but I`m annoyed this is not being shown hardly anywhere. I wouldn`t mind seeing this also.

aw crap I was gonna go see it at the cineworld in Boro at the weekend. Failing that I was gonna go after work on Monday in Newcastle but doesnt look like that is going to happen either.

Really wanted to see this at the cinema, and they wonder why people download films.

Ooh, just seen its on at the metrocentre, think I will have to be going there then.

I`m going to see it at the Sheffield Showroom hopefully. I don`t know anything about it except I like the director and the look of the website. :D
