Page 1 of Simpsons R.1 disc 3 problem?

Can anybody check above disc for lock-up during the deleted scenes also the playing surface of disc 3.(mine appears pitted and a different colour to discs 1 & 2)

My disk 3 looks abit warped, like it`s been in the sun.

I only watched halfway though the deleted scenes but they where working fine. i`ll play it though tonight and post the result.

I haven`t had any probs, but that is because I`ve got a different player from you :D

The reason why its a different colour is thats its a single layer disc, unlike the gold dual layers of the other discs...

How can you work out you`ve a different player to me? For information this disc locked up at exactly the same point (Lisa on bed ,Marje looking in mirror) on both my main player AND my p.c. player. I just wanted to ascertain whether this was a dodgy batch or that Iwas just unlucky!

I have an lg 3350 and my copy works, what dvd software are you using and what standalone dvd player is it

I have a pioneer 535 and my pc runs powerdvd

Nope tried it on my pioneer and that whole scene runs perfectly (other than the dodgy animation that is) must be the disk.

I have a Samsung 511 and have the same problem - the disc freezes (particularly bad on the Tracy Ulman part).

I was going to contact Play but I removed that stpid piece of paper that was stuck on the back of the box.

Mine plays fine... and everyone says that the Alba 103 is crap!!!

Got a Pioneer 525, Disc 1 and 2 have been trouble free,
not made it to disc 3 yet tho.
