I`ve ordered twice from dvd soon and had no problem at all!(touch wood) But I do know that Canada post isn`t the best! As for not anawering e-mails that is a bit shoddy,but again I think I`ve read somewhere on these forums that you have to contact a specific address to get a response?

I`m with Neiliboy, I`ve NEVER had any problems at all , in fact when I bought my dvd player from them it was from a similar ad in what hi-fi, they didn`t have the advertised item in stock so they substituted it for a newer model at the old model price!

I`m with SJ on this if you get a BOGOF from the supermarket you use the whole product yourself (or can you sell a bag of spuds on ebay?) but with a dvd you would only watch one copy surely!!!

and by the way I only ordered one copy which hasn`t arrived yet!!!

Faulty Discs

I bought Almost Famous (bootleg edition) for Xmas and have just found that one of the discs is faulty! PLAY have said that it is outside their 28 day "window" and they won`t exchange it!!! Does anybody know how I stand on this legally?

Region 4 is a two disc set and has a release date two weeks before ! According to wwwrewind.org.uk the extras are identical.

I`m only guessing but would the six year rule only apply to getting the purchase repaired at your expense.(and to protect the consumer on the product becoming obsolete i.e. unrepairable) ?

I was thinking about the die hard box set this would come out at about £34.00 what would the import duty be on this amount? (future entertainment ship this item for £39.99 would I save a great deal as no import duty would come from ordering from here)
